Tip Attach W to the enemy, then detonate it with Q. The Q hit reduces Ezreal's other cooldowns by 1.5 seconds, while the W detonation refunds mana for repeated poke.

Tip Cast Q just after a basic attack fires to reduce downtime while applying on-hit effects and building Rising Spell Force. A missed Q also loses the 1.5-second reduction to Ezreal's other cooldowns, so reading the target's movement matters more than rushing the input.

When All-in burst on a target

Tip Detonate W with Q for damage and cooldown reduction, blink into range with E, add a basic attack, then finish with R. Every Q hit reduces E and R's remaining cooldowns by 1.5 seconds, allowing the rotation to cycle sooner.
