Why it works

Blade of the Ruined King adds current-Health on-hit damage to the three attacks after an empowered Shield Vault, and the Empowerment and Chain Assault runes reward the same sequence. Serpent's Fang cuts shields, Serylda's Grudge and Armorcrusher Boots provide physical penetration, and Edge of Night blocks the first hostile spell before a commit. Galeforce is the build's only user-activated item and improves pursuit and finishing. Sudden Impact adds damage after Shield Vault.
