Why it works

Heartsteel stacks maximum Health through short attack trades, while Sunfire Aegis improves close-range damage and wave clear. Thornmail pressures attack- and healing-focused opponents, and Dawnshroud triggers from Shadow Dash's taunt to add damage around the engage. Amaranth's Twinguard and Armored Advance supply mixed defenses after Shen arrives with Stand United. Grasp and Overgrowth improve Twilight Assault trades and bonus-Health shield scaling, while Sudden Impact rewards Shadow Dash.
