Why it works

Malignance strengthens extended fights started by Demonic Ascension, while Infinity Orb and Rabadon's Deathcap improve AP and finishing damage as Swain drains nearby enemies. Cryptbloom penetrates Magic Resistance and heals on takedowns, and Zhonya's Hourglass is the sole active item for buying time in the center of the ultimate. Conqueror and Axiom Arcanist fit prolonged ultimate fights.
