Tip Press W twice to lock Red Card, then use the empowered basic attack on a target that places both minions and the champion in its area for damage and a 3-second slow. Land the center line of Q's three cards during the slow, and do not wait so long after choosing that the loaded attack expires.

When Trading or all-in burst once Twisted Fate can land the stun

Tip Activate E first for 3 seconds of attack speed, then lock Gold Card with W and stun for 1.25 seconds on the next basic attack. Land Q during the stun and continue toward E's fourth-attack bonus magic damage, making sure the second W input actually locks the gold card in the rotating sequence.

When Teleporting flank with Destiny to close a gank
