Basic Poke: E → Basic Attack → Q → Basic Attack

Basic

When Standard trade in lane phase for safe, efficient poke

  1. Dash empower
  2. AutoEmpowered hit
  3. Weave
  4. AutoBasic attack

Tip Use E for range and attack speed, build a Q charge with a basic attack, then snip when the target is on the center line. Q's center deals true damage and applies the passive, so prioritize alignment over the edge and stay forward only if the final empowered basic attack is safe.

Full-Stack All-In Burst

Intermediate

When Pre-stacking Q then unloading the full kit for a kill all-in

  1. AutoPre-stack
  2. Dash empower
  3. AutoEmpowered hit
  4. Burst
  5. First needle
  6. Second needle
  7. Finisher

Tip Build Q to four charges with basic attacks and land its center, then remember R is split across three separate casts. Weave basic attacks between casts to use the passive and E attack speed, and stay in range so all five needles from the final cast connect on the slowed target.

E-Refund Basic Attack Weave Chase

Advanced

When Chasing a fleeing target by weaving basic attacks and using E's cooldown refund

  1. Dash empower
  2. AutoCooldown refund
  3. Weave
  4. AutoBasic attack
  5. Re-dash
  6. AutoEmpowered hit

Tip E refunds 50% of its cooldown only when the first empowered basic attack lands; it is not an immediate reset. Confirming that hit is what makes the next dash available sooner.

W Safe Poke (Untargetable)

Intermediate

When Trade then use Hallowed Mist to dodge return fire and disengage safely

  1. Dash empower
  2. AutoEmpowered hit
  3. Weave
  4. Mist untargetable

Tip Gwen is untargetable to enemies outside Hallowed Mist only while she remains inside it. The mist follows her once when she first steps beyond its edge, so movement timing determines how long the protection lasts.
