Lux's Light Binding (Q) is a projectile Mel can reflect with Rebuttal (W) to stun her instead, and the immobile Lux keeps bleeding HP to Radiant Volley (Q) poke until she falls into Golden Eclipse (R) execute range.

Brand has no mobility and hinges his combo on Sear (Q)'s skillshot stun, which Mel can reflect with Rebuttal (W) or sidestep at range, and her Radiant Volley (Q) poke advantage shuts down his all-in engage outright.

Veigar is weak early-mid and his Baleful Strike (Q) and Dark Matter (W) are skillshots, so Mel pressures him at Radiant Volley (Q) range to strip his CS and HP, and by dodging Event Horizon (E) she dominates the lane and stunts his scaling entirely.

Yasuo's Wind Wall (W) blocks Radiant Volley (Q) and even the projectiles Mel reflects, nullifying her poke and Rebuttal (W) reflect damage, and he uses Sweeping Blade (E) to dash in outside Rebuttal (W)'s stun and all-in.
