Nidalee lacks hard CC and leans on Javelin Toss (Q) poke, so Alpha Strike (Q)'s untargetable frames slip her spears and, once Yi sticks, her squishy frame is deleted. As the game goes long Nidalee falls off while Master Yi scales with Wuju Style (E) and Highlander (R).

Twitch has no hard CC, so Alpha Strike (Q)'s untargetable window dodges his Spray and Pray (R) burst, and Wuju Style (E)'s true damage crushes the squishy Twitch up close.

Alpha Strike (Q)'s untargetable cast dodges Zed's Death Mark (R) re-trigger and Razor Shuriken (Q) combo, while Wuju Style (E)'s true damage and Highlander (R) resets take over in extended fights.

Steadfast Presence (W) does not stop Alpha Strike (Q) or Highlander (R). Instead, Poppy relies on her high armor and Iron Ambassador (P) shield to survive basic attacks, then interrupts Master Yi's damage window with Heroic Charge (E)'s wall stun and Keeper's Verdict (R).

Frenzying Taunt (E) pins Master Yi in place so Defensive Ball Curl (W)'s reflect damage makes him kill himself, and Rammus's explosive armor neutralizes the auto-attack-reliant Master Yi.

Infinite Duress (R)'s suppression CC pins Master Yi entirely, and Jaws of the Beast (Q) lifesteal plus Blood Hunt (W) movement speed win the early duel one-sidedly.

Counter Strike (E) dodges all of Master Yi's autos then stuns him, fundamentally countering the auto-attack-reliant Master Yi, and Jax wins the duel on bruiser stats.

Dredge Line (Q) hook, Staggering Blow (P) auto root, and Depth Charge (R) knock-up chain CC to lock Master Yi through the gaps in his Alpha Strike (Q) untargetable windows, and Nautilus tanks it out with high durability.
