Lux relies on Light Binding (Q) for self-protection. Irelia uses Bladesurge (Q) through minions to move off the binding's line and close in, then continues the melee trade with Flawless Duet (E)'s stun and basic attacks if Q misses.

Kassadin is very weak early before Riftwalk (R) comes online, and Irelia keeps pressuring the lane with Flawless Duet (E) stun and Bladesurge (Q) kill resets, repeatedly picking him off before he scales.

TF is squishy and his only self-peel is the gold-card stun from Pick a Card (W), so once Irelia closes in with a Bladesurge (Q) dash she dominates extended trades.

Ryze is weak early and has no dash, so Irelia dives easily with Flawless Duet (E) stun and Bladesurge (Q) resets and snowballs.

Veigar has no dash and weak early mana and wave-clear, so Irelia dashes to minions with Bladesurge (Q) to dodge the Event Horizon (E) angle, closes in, then locks him down with Flawless Duet (E) and all-ins.

Galio absorbs Irelia's damage and taunts with Shield of Durand (W), then adds the Justice Punch (E) knockup to tank through and turn the all-in back on her.

Pantheon has a strong early lane with Comet Spear (Q) poke and the point-blank Shield Vault (W) stun, cutting off Irelia's approach with focus fire and dominating trades.

Granite Shield (P) and high armor absorb Irelia's basic-attack-heavy damage, while Ground Slam (E)'s attack-speed reduction lowers her sustained output. Unstoppable Force (R)'s knock-up punishes her Bladesurge (Q) engage.

Diana dashes onto Irelia with Lunar Rush (E) and pulls her in with Moonfall (R), while the Pale Cascade (W) shield wins the all-in and neutralizes Irelia's dash counter.

Kennen kites Irelia with Thundering Shuriken (Q) ranged poke and blocks her approach entirely with Mark of the Storm (P) stun stacks and the Slicing Maelstrom (R) CC storm.
